Maybe not Maine.

Turns out we didn't go to Maine. Lucy, Pete, and Liz are off to Boston for the day. We get them to ourselves for some time so Lucy is spending QT today and we are thinking a long weekend trip around Maine and Canada could be cool. Oh, and here are before and after pictures of the back porch that we tore out last week. We will be having big doors put in and then will be taking out that interior wall and reclaim all that space for a nice dining area. It is the first in what will be a very long process of renovations and redesigning. I think the doors may be going in today actually. It is amazing how much more light we get into the house with that dingy back porch gone and able to enjoy our wonderful little Lake view. We are one step closer to having access to the porch from the inside of the house so we don't have to go out the front door and all the way around.
