Yesterday I had to run to Leba-tron to pick up a few items and took the back way home as opposed to the interstate. I miss driving the back roads of Vermont in summer; I didn't do nearly enough of it this summer. The Maxfield Parrish Highway follows the Connecticut River down the NH/VT border through some beautiful green valleys of Cornish and Plainfied until you get to the covered bridge that takes you right over to Windsor, Vermont.

These are such great shots. The drives around here really are worth taking. No matter what direction you go it's going to be something peaceful and beautiful. I actually love the end of summer. I guess I love every season and everything in between. You captured it well.
Nice photos - that is one of my favorite roads and I take it often except in the dead of winter.
Lovely pics Chris. That bridge looks extra cool. I can't believe how grown up you guys are renovating and all. Looking good.
gorgeous lighting reflections on the water...
