We have been experiencing incredible lightning and thunder storms this summer. It has been the quintessential rainy Vermont summer. But July is right around the corner so we'll see what that brings. Isn't the lightning cool...
we have been having the same thing, lots of lightning and thunder... but no rain. ONly hot hot hot hot humid days. I would sooooooo love some rain. I would love some snow too, anything to cool this place down a little.
You have cool lightning tho- flashes, we dont get the flash, just the diffuse light. Which is sad because you can't photograph that! Great shots Chris.
wow amazing pics. Just last week we had a huge electrical storm and had over 20,000 lighting strikes throughout the night. Storms like this and your storm are utterly amazing to hear, feel and see.
We didn't think they'd come out but thanks to a tripod and nice long shutter. I remember these storms as a kid,the smell and the nervous excitement they brought and its still the same. I like that some things never change.
