We arrived in Dubai at midnight and the temperature was 37 degrees Celcius. Hot stuff! Mike had got us a free hotel voucher in Athens so we went through customs (to nab another cool stamp in the ole passeporte) and had the most incredible 7 hours of sleep in weeks. I know that I didn't move because my head had made this incredible indent into the pillow. We were wisked back to the airport and an hour later we were on the runway outta there. There's nothing like the refreshment of skipping an all nighter in an airport. Thanks Mike. At about noon, the temperature was 47 degrees Celcius ( over 120 F) and you can see these poor Pakistanis out in that working. There is building going on 24/7 in Dubai so it will soon be known as the most luxurious spot for the rich. I wouldn't mind checking it out someday.
