Within the first few days of being open, a man came into the Merc with a project his father had done in 1926 by collecting the weekly ads that his father put into the paper advertising their Grocery/Dry Goods store here in Windsor. This is one of the ads. They are absolutely fantastic. I scanned it in and had to do a bit of fussing to get it to look clean enough but that is straight from the February 5th paper of 1926 here in Windsor. I have about 20 of them and we will scatter them through out the year. You just can't get any better than this really. 82 years old!

What a wonderful find! I just love what you guys are doing to preserve the sense of old fashioned community in Windsor. It's awesome.
