Patara Beach, 20kms of sandy beach with soft sand and a nice breeze. It was once "the" beach and has now become much less traveled by which you could see as a positive really because with that much beach, you can certainly have plenty of room. Now, if I wasn't such a beach snob from my 4 years in Hawaii, I think I would have found this more amazing. Although with the walk through the ruins to get there, it was unique and very beautiuful. I guess I am just a little lost on beaches. We had a great day meandering there and back from the village. It was pretty unique wandering through the ancient city to get to the beach. It was a beautiful spot.
