After leaving the beach, we headed up a very steep path to the road. Very steep.

Along the way, we passed signs for all of these campsites, hostels, and even what seemed to be a luxury getaway all there on the path. Here, at the top, there were signs pointing down the path to all of the awaiting sites. It would be a killer to have to take a bag down there. Apparently you can get a donkey but I wouldn't even want to do that to the donkey. It was even more out of the way than George House but I preferred where we were.

We opted to walk back along the road rather than the trail. It was a hot walk but I enjoyed all the time in the sun. The road twisted right along the oceancliff and through some tiny villages. There was a small supermarket that we stopped in for some juice and our favorite candybars in the whole world. Mine tasted like "Samoa" girlscout cookies...the ones in the purple box and Mike's was a better version of a Milky way. Great way to end a great day. Posted by Picasa
