On Friday, a good portion of the family headed to the Ocean in Massachusetts. Wingaersheek Beach is North of Boston. It's a little cape and when the tide goes out you can walk our for at least half a mile which also make the area perfect for finding fresh clams. I wish I had a picture of our tent set-up because we had 2 big awning tents that we brought and all sorts of stuff. We basically moved to the beach for 7 hours. We had such a great time and my girl loved eating the sand. The kids all go back to school next week so it was a fun last hoo-rah before we all get back into it.

Sunset on the Oregon coast
We are back from Oregon now and settling back into home life. Last week, we headed over to the coast with Alicia, Tucker, Sally, and the boys while we left Mike at home recovering from his unplanned but much needed wisdom tooth extraction. It was a perfect moment in time with friends and a happy little boy.

York Beach in Maine

These were taken at York beach in Maine last week on our little day trip with Alice. Growing up, we used to head up to York beach on Labor day weekend so it felt like a tradition continuing. And just as always, the water was freezing but it was a cooler day than usual so we didn't pull out the swim gear and just let our lil man crawl around in the sand. He seemed to have a good time.
Alice has left us for the southwest sun and we miss her heaps but I hear she already had a little Mexico adventure! Can't wait to hear.
