Sunset on the Oregon coast

We are back from Oregon now and settling back into home life. Last week, we headed over to the coast with Alicia, Tucker, Sally, and the boys while we left Mike at home recovering from his unplanned but much needed wisdom tooth extraction. It was a perfect moment in time with friends and a happy little boy.

Kites on the Coast

It was the first time I had seen sun and blue sky on the Oregon coast and they took their cool zippy kites to fly. Later, Tucker remarked that the kites looked like they were fighting but Alicia thought they looked as if they were dancing. Perspectives. Our boy got a kick out of the sand, the kites and walking all over the place.

We are in Oregon visiting friends/family and also trying to help Rich & Paula do some interior design plans for their beautiful Farmhouse property. It is the family home that they have been renovating into some sort of gathering/event/retreat place and it is looking incredible. We headed to a trunk or treat with the family on Friday night and the big people hit up one of their neighbor's barn parties on Saturday night. Luckily, Paula had a pile of old costumes and Mike and I threw together some gypsy looking duds.
