Love Lei.

I Just saw these photos on my gal pal's, Leilani, site and they remind me of her and how talented she is at photography. I love the colors and textures and make me miss my days there. Thanks Lei.

Nie Nie Day.

Today has been declared "Nie Nie Day" by Design Mom to help support the recovery of super sweet Stephanie Nielson and her husband who were in a terrible private plane crash a little over a week ago. Design Mom put a call out for bloggers to have silent auctions to help raise money and we are hosting one at Tending Snapdragons for a custom Blog header.

There are over 160 other sites hosting auctions as well. All the money raised will go straight into a fund to help the family (the care of their 4 young kids) and their extensive and expensive recovery. If you go HERE to the Inn site you can read about our auction and McK has also listed links to Design Mom where you can find out More about the family and why we care. Its a good time to give if you can. Like Design Mom said,

I'm hoping people are in a public radio mindset. Like when you hear the NPR commentators say: "pledge your membership of only $75.00 and we'll send you this canvas tote bag with our logo on it." You know the tote bag is worth maybe $5. But it's not about that. You're looking for a way to be generous and supportive. And the tote bag is just a bonus.

Back road home.

Yesterday I had to run to Leba-tron to pick up a few items and took the back way home as opposed to the interstate. I miss driving the back roads of Vermont in summer; I didn't do nearly enough of it this summer. The Maxfield Parrish Highway follows the Connecticut River down the NH/VT border through some beautiful green valleys of Cornish and Plainfied until you get to the covered bridge that takes you right over to Windsor, Vermont.

First Renovation complete!

After
BeforeHere are our awesome new doors. Well we are going to knock down the inside wall now so that we have access to the porch from inside. Maybe I will have a couple months where I don't have to walk all the way around the house to hang my clothes! I think this little change already adds some value to the house. Mike is so good at thinking of things to and I think this was a good start.

Visit with the Bergz.

Our American pals who lived in NZ have relocated back to the states and were at his parents house in New Hampshire so we zipped down to see them yesterday afternoon, spent the night, and zipped back. This was a year ago when we were saying our NZ goodbyes...wow, that year flew by! It was great to see them again.

See those orange leaves...Where did you go summer??!
New England is pretty fun to drive around because the states are so close!
The girls seemed pretty excited.
Taking turns holding Mike's hands. This little dude was still crawlin around the floor and did not have that head of hair last year.
Mark took us on a little tour of his old stompin'grounds in their van.
And then once the kids were in bed, we broke out the KAPLA blocks. These things are addictive.
Look what you can do!
Mike's bridge.
That the girls woke up and destroyed!
Loo took some new couch photos of us.
And we headed back to Vermont.
Good luck on your move to Joisey! Hopefully we can bring Liz and Pete down!

Eddie!

Dartmouth Hospital is like a pristine mall.
Those are toes...not fingers. He's our monkey boy.

The sweet onesie McK's fiend made from a Van Halen Tee

Just to make sure he doesn't go anywhere.

Shootin' the breeze.

Soft touches.

Doesn't Chelle look beautiful! Wouldn't know she just had a baby.
Happy Dad.
Happy Aunt Chris
Eddie is a cutie. He's a sturdy lil fella and pretty sleepy after his long day. Chelle is doing really well and enjoying her sweet room at Dartmouth, aka "The Mallpital" There will be lots of hands willing to hold this little guy.

Welcome to the Family!

This morning at 7:30AM Chelle delivered the newest member of the Larson Clan. I headed over their house early this morning to be with the kids while everyone was at the hospital and hope to make it over to see them later today. The little guy was going to do this all on his own time. Brig said Chelle was awesome and she sounds really good. I found these on THIS site with some pretty awesome cards. They say it all.
